My MD is not a reason for the world to dummy-down its speech just because I’m “lame” or “crippled” or “incapable.” I’m strong on the inside, where it counts, and I refuse to enpower “words” over my decision to live a full life — or as full as I can.

I understand that words can hurt someone’s feelings. And there’s a four letter word for this condition. It’s called L-I-F-E. And the sooner we shelve the pity parties and figure out how to adjust, we’ll be labeled with the worst of all words — LOSERS.
