Aw, thanks so much! I was trying to write it in a way that was straightforward, and easy to understand for anyone who might be unsure of what GMOs are, and what the effects could potentially be. Everyone is free to have their own opinion, and I respect that. However, I would like people to know about this subject so they can at least form an opinion.

It explains the situation thoroughly, yet simply enough that people who don’t quite understand the whole GMO debate will be able to see things clearly after reading this article. This should be recommended reading for anyone and everyone (even those who have no connection to the disabled community) interested in maintaining their health. The next time someone asks me what the big deal is with GMOs, I’m going to link them to this article. Well done, Tashauna. I can’t wait for Part II.

Thanks for commenting, Ty! I totally agree with you! There are so many other things I wanted to include in this article, but I would have gone on forever! Growing GMO is contributing to the degradation of our environment as well as our health.

Neonicotinoid pesticides are also killing off the bees which are needed to pollinate crops. The biotechnology and agribusiness companies want to monopolize the food supply by getting patents on seeds. Its not just food thats being genetically modified either. Biotechnology companies and other industries that believe in controlling the masses want a completely genetically engineered society where people become machines. Google trans-humanism.
