I have spent most of my life. dealing with a father, who wanted very little to do with me, and then critised me when he did. He convinced himself, my disabilty, was a sweeptakes ticket, so I was spoiled.
It hurt. Trying to forgive, and make my own life hasn’t been easy.
As with so many things, I admire your guts in facing it head on.
