Have you ever discovered something so good that by the time you told everyone about it…it was gone?
That was me with the Nothing Bundt Cakes Turtle Cheesecake Swirl Bundtlet.
If you follow me on Instagram, you had a fighting chance because I shared it the moment I tasted it. If you don’t follow me at instagram.com/latinadivaonwheels, well…you missed out. The Turtle Cheesecake Swirl was only available for two weeks, and like all good things, it disappeared much too soon.
The good news?
There’s still time to enjoy my other summer obsession.
The Nothing Bundt Cakes Lemon Raspberry.
But not for long.
It’s available only through the end of August, and after one bite, you’ll understand why I’m writing about cake instead of pretending I have self-control.
Because this…
This is summer in my mouth.
Not summer at the beach.
Not summer in a glass.
Summer in my mouth.
Bright lemon. Sweet raspberry. Moist cake. Cream cheese frosting that somehow knows exactly when to be rich without becoming overwhelming. Every bite tastes like sunshine decided to become dessert.
I’m usually the first person to tell you that food should make you smile.
This one made me grin.
What I appreciate about Nothing Bundt Cakes is that they don’t chase trends. They simply make really good cake. The Lemon Raspberry isn’t trying to be flashy. It lets the flavors do the talking. The lemon wakes up your taste buds while the raspberry softens everything with just the right amount of sweetness. Neither one tries to steal the show. They work together the way the best duets always do.
Now let’s talk about one of my favorite subjects.
Excuses to buy cake.
If your child is heading back to school before the end of August, stop by Nothing Bundt Cakes and pick up a Lemon Raspberry Bundtlet for their teacher.
Trust me.
That teacher is going to think your child is as sweet as the cake.
Don’t have kids?
Perfect.
Pretend.
I’m kidding.
Kind of.
Walk in, buy yourself a Lemon Raspberry Bundtlet, and if anyone asks, tell them it’s for a teacher. I fully support dessert alibis. Remember, I’m a veteran teacher. (Hint, hint)
Actually, I think we’ve forgotten how wonderful “just because” gifts can be.
Somewhere along the way we decided gifts have to cost a fortune or wait for birthdays and holidays.
Says who?
Going to visit a friend?
Bring cake.
Invited to dinner?
Bring cake.
Need to thank someone?
Bring cake.
Had a rough week?
Bring cake home.
Stayed home all weekend because your social battery needed a recharge?
Congratulations.
You’ve found another perfectly acceptable reason to buy cake.

One of the things I enjoy most about Nothing Bundt Cakes is that they rotate seasonal flavors. Yes, it’s disappointing when a favorite disappears. I would’ve happily welcomed the Turtle Cheesecake Swirl into my life for a little longer. It combined creamy cheesecake, caramel, chocolate drizzle, toasted pecans, and an OREO® cookie crust into one delightfully indulgent Bundtlet.
But maybe that’s part of the fun.
Seasonal flavors remind us not to wait.
If something catches your eye, go try it.
If it makes you smile, tell someone about it.
And if you follow me on Instagram, hopefully I’ll give you enough notice before the next delicious creation disappears.
Until then, I’m happily recommending the Nothing Bundt Cakes Lemon Raspberry.
Whether you’re looking for a late-summer dessert, a thoughtful teacher gift, a hostess gift, something to bring to a friend, or simply a reason to make an ordinary Tuesday feel a little less ordinary, this cake checks every box.
Life gives us enough reasons to skip dessert.
I prefer collecting reasons to enjoy it.
So don’t wait until September and tell me, “I meant to try the Lemon Raspberry.”
I warned you.
Summer doesn’t last forever.
Neither does this cake.
